“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling.”

Psalm 46:1-3

Update as of Friday, 13th March 2020 10:45am

Dear Overcomers’ Family,

In light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, the Church Leadership will like to update you and address any valid concerns you may have during this period.

As a body of Christ, you’re encouraged to engage Psalm 91:1 – 10 as your watch word this season and beyond.

“ Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.  If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.”

You are encouraged not to panic or fear, rather rest under the covering of the Sovereign Lord that watches over all. We encourage you to participate in the daily morning teleconference as we cry to God together for divine intervention to calm this storm and strengthen families that may have be affected during this time. Teleconference details can be found below:

Teleconference No: 647-360-4694

  • Close the Café while we keep monitoring the situation.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated on any changes to our services. The live stream service is available if for any reason you prefer to attend online or prefer to self-isolate as recommended by Ottawa Public Health.

We want to reassure you of God’s loving kindness that is greater than life at this time and always. We pray the peace of God that passes understanding upon you and all yours in Jesus name.
